Day 106 – Northern Gels

Hello everybody, my name is Daniel and I am a colour addict…

I really love looking at those desaturated Portraits with that edgy look, but for some reason I’m not able to shot or later on edit those. I always end up with colours.

This shot was taken with a whole bunch of those gels I always talk about, shooting a flash throught them and defocusing the lens… I tired a couple of shots with focusing on the gels, but ended up liking this one more.

173mm – f2.8 – 1/250 – ISO 100

SB-80dx (diffusor – 1/64) a couple of rolled pieces of paper with all my colour correction gels sticking to the outside, SB-80dx (bounce card – 1/32) bare from the back as rim/fill, flashes tiggered via on-camera Flash and optical slaves.
